After a couple of months of silence, I finally got the bad news from The GM of the SFC that he has been " Instructed, not advised" to not allow any outsiders to get involved in the rescue. It seems that the situation can turn ugly as some of the natives have resettled back into the valley and are now refusing to move up.As a result, he says, impoundment has been delayed.
There is no reports of this in the newspapers so there could be a total clampdown on info to the press. This is a very sensitive matter.
He politely told me to consider everything as being put on hold, but I think we both know that its as good as a final NO.
Is it really over?
