First Cash donation received

Last week, Peter, a friend and high level politician from Sabah visited Penang. We enjoyed a couple of meals together. He asked me how the rescue project is going and I gave him an update. He was happy and immediately said he would like to donate Rm 10,000. Within a few days the money, in cold hard cash, was in my hands. This is a really great show of faith and greatly buoyed my spirits. Even though I have received a few pledges for boats and money, I have not collected anything from anyone yet.
